When driving alone, what do you do? Sing along to the radio? Think about your day? Something else?
Submitted by carapiccoladiva.
That's an easy one--sing! I love to pop in a CD and sing away...only problem is, if I drive, my hubby is a little chatty (compared to when he drives) and if one of my favourite songs comes on, I either have to pause the music or him! Heh heh. Best if he drives.
Wonder if there'd be less road rage and craziness if more people sang...maybe would depend on the songs being sung...who knows. Just thinking out loud. ^.^
What do you absolutely refuse to eat?
Food that moves. Even before I became a vegetarian, this was more than I could stomach. When I was in Korea, I'll never forget my first boss taking the staff out for lunch at a Japanese restaurant. I'm not sure if it was live octopus tentacles, but there was a plate of little moving white things on the table. I took one look at it and had to force myself not to look back. I had a conversation with my boss that went something like this:
Would you like some?
No thanks.
But it's really fresh.
Yes, it's moving! Can't get much fresher than that.
Hope I didn't sound rude; I think I was just dumbfounded at the idea of eating moving food. I ended up going out for lunch with my roommate after this lunch!

What are the 10 most memorable music performances you've seen? (Remember, "memorable" may not be good.)
Submitted by Bill.
The first thing I wonder is if I've seen 10...so sad! Let's see...
The Rolling Stones (where I not only saw The Stones, but also got my first smell of pot being smoked and saw a streaker~memorable for sure, heh heh)
Billy Joel
Depeche Mode
Paul McCartney (despite having a cognitive psych exam the day after)
The Beach Boys (I know, I know)
Tom Cochrane (free tickets, so figured, why not)
Molly Johnson (coming up...April 19th!!)
I officially resolve to go to more concerts. : (
What's the last compliment you gave and/or received?
Submitted by MalieKai.
They picked my question! Guess I'd better answer it, eh? Let's see...today, I told three of my students that they looked especially nice. They looked quite snazzy actually...all ready to do a presentation for another class. And the last compliment I received...that'd probably be my friend K looking at my stomach area and saying, "Wow, you've really lost weight! How much have you lost??" Truth be told, yeah, I have lost weight so I was happy to hear her say that 'cause I haven't really told her much about my latest weight-loss endeavours. I laughed off her compliment, said thanks, and left it at that. Don't want to jinx things! ^.^
How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?
When they ask for me, I just say, "Sorry, she's not here right now. Can I take a message?" Pretty effective. I know I should just deal with the person and ask them to take me off their list, but...
