It's akin to cleaning the house before the housecleaning service arrives, however, necessary (for me at least!). Why can't I have feet like my hubby's? He does nothing except wash them, yet they're soft and unblemished. Not fair I tell ya! Here are some 'tools' I'd recommend:
First up we have Dr. Scholl's Exfoliating Stone File (a good recommendation from my mom)...
Next, Dr. Scholl's Callus Remover Cream...
And finally, some Flexitol Heel Balm!
Venus triumphed!
Did anyone else catch any of the commentary on CBS during play between Ana Ivanovic and Venus Williams in yesterday's match? I really should have written some of it down...I kept saying to my hubby, 'Did he just say...??' If you missed it, one of the commentators kept commenting on the players' attractiveness...excessively...saying things like, 'she's nice to look at and her game's not bad either.' All I could think of was that if I were one of those players, I really wouldn't appreciate someone commenting on how pretty I looked rather than on my game. I seriously couldn't believe my ears 'cause this guy went on and on and on, and that was only in the tiny clip that I happened to watch. I don't know, I think it's insulting to the players, but that's just me.
There's no picture 'cause this soup ("Green Lentil Soup with Coconut Milk and Warm Spices") simply isn't terribly appealing visually speaking BUT, it is so tasty!!!! I had mine with rice on the side...mmm mmm. Definitely something I will be making again!
I'm curious about the cookbook containing the recipe the above recipe is an adaption of (omg, what a crazy sentence...I really shouldn't write anything after midnight). Don't really need another cookbook, but hey, you can never have too many great cookbooks!
Who wouldn't be tempted by some of the things Restoration Hardware has to 'offer'? Not me!
I love the matching lounge chair too:
Of course, the backdrop these items are photographed in helps! There are actually two of these stores in Toronto...one of these days, I definitely have to check one of them out (sans my hubby though!).
Thanks to a post by one of my neighbours, I learned of this store which sells little t-shirts for multi-cultural kiddies. The shirts (and also the babies sporting them) are so cute! The shirt below would be good if/when my hubby and I have a child--
My mom has been doing a lot of wedding-related 'work' lately for my sister's wedding and I guess must have been in the dancing spirit when she searched for and found this video...the couple in it is so cute and it looks like they're having so much fun. Really makes me want to just get up and bust a move!
My mom had this poem hanging on the wall while I was growing up and I still often think of it. It's always good to keep the big picture in mind and I'd say this is a good part of it; to me, these are things I definitely wouldn't want to lose sight of.

I saw Tristan Prettyman mentioned here and thought I'd check out her music~I really like it...another CD or two to add to my wishlist!
When driving alone, what do you do? Sing along to the radio? Think about your day? Something else?

That's an easy one--sing! I love to pop in a CD and sing away...only problem is, if I drive, my hubby is a little chatty (compared to when he drives) and if one of my favourite songs comes on, I either have to pause the music or him! Heh heh. Best if he drives.
Wonder if there'd be less road rage and craziness if more people sang...maybe would depend on the songs being sung...who knows. Just thinking out loud. ^.^
